What spraying involves
First the frames are scrubbed clean, degreased and keyed to give the coating something to hold. With glass, seals, handles and brickwork masked off, we spray them where they stand, using coatings made for uPVC. Doing every frame in one booking keeps the colour consistent across the house. Because the job depends on the weather, we schedule it from spring to early autumn.
A front door is a small area on which to try a darker colour, and our uPVC door spraying page explains that job on its own.
uPVC spraying near the Landbeach conservation area
Only about 3% of Landbeach homes are flats, so most requests are for a house's full set of windows. If yours is in the Landbeach conservation area or is listed, check with South Cambridgeshire District Council before changing the frame colour.
Graham checks the frames at his visit. A cracked frame or failed seal is a replacement job, and he will tell you that rather than quote to spray over it.

How we approach upvc spraying
We wash every frame, degrease it, lightly abrade the surface and wipe it clean. Masking goes tight to the glass and rubber seals so no coating lands where it shouldn't. Spraying is done on site in thin coats of a product designed for uPVC, and we only book it for the dry, mild part of the year, spring to early autumn. The full method, products and FAQs are on our upvc spraying page.
