Bottisham's homes at a glance
Bottisham parish had 2,431 residents in 908 households when the 2021 Census was taken. Detached houses make up 43% of homes and semis 35%, with terraces at 15% and flats under 7%. More than four in ten households have four or more bedrooms.
Just under half the houses are on the Park Estate, built in the 1960s. The older part of the village has a designated Bottisham conservation area and 25 listed buildings: the Church of Holy Trinity at Grade I, and 24 at Grade II, including 66 and 78 High Street. Bottisham Village College, opened in 1937, was the second of Henry Morris's Cambridgeshire village colleges.
Owners, tenants and landlords in the village
Seven households in ten own their home, 42% outright and 28% with a mortgage. Around 15% rent from a social landlord, 12% rent privately and 2.4% are in shared ownership, so alongside owner-occupiers we'd expect a fair amount of work for landlords and housing providers.
Two of our Bottisham pages go into particular detail: kitchen painting and decorating in Bottisham, covering units, walls and worktops, and commercial decorating in Bottisham for landlords and business premises.
From first visit to finished room
Graham comes out, roughly 8 miles by road, at a time that suits you and looks at the work with you. His written quotation arrives afterwards, normally by email, and that price holds: anything extra is discussed and agreed before it happens. Belinda fixes the start date and is the person to call while work is in progress.
All 12 of our decorators are City & Guilds or NVQ qualified. We're Dulux Select Decorators, Graham is an associate member of the Painting and Decorating Association, and we carry £5 million public liability insurance.
