Which Isleham homes suit respraying
Nearly every household in Isleham lives in a house, with flats making up only about 2% of homes. That means most owners can decide on their own frames without a freeholder's say, although the 21% of households who rent will need their landlord's agreement first.
The village conservation area is worth checking before you pick a colour. A move from white to anthracite or green may need a word with East Cambridgeshire District Council if your house sits inside it, and for any of Isleham's 34 listed buildings, talk to the council's conservation officer.
Preparation and the spraying season
Each frame is washed, degreased to lift the film plastic gathers outdoors, then lightly abraded. We mask glass, gaskets, handles, sills and brick before spraying a coating made for uPVC, in thin coats with drying time between them.
It only works in dry, mild weather, so we book uPVC spraying from spring to early autumn. Conservatory frames and patio doors can be done in the same visit, as our conservatory spraying page describes.

How we approach upvc spraying
Graham would walk round with you, check every frame for cracks or failed seals and leave out any that need replacing rather than coating. The quotation lists each window and door. On the day, frames are cleaned and keyed first, the house is masked one side at a time, and windows can be closed each evening. The full method, products and FAQs are on our upvc spraying page.
