Front doors, windows and patio doors
A uPVC front door is a good first step. It's one frame, it's the one visitors see, and it shows whether a darker shade suits your brick. Our uPVC door spraying page has more on doors, and the windows can follow later.
Over 96% of Fordham's homes are houses, so most owners can decide for themselves. Tenants, who make up nearly a third of households, need their landlord's permission. In the conservation area, ask East Cambridgeshire District Council before moving away from white.
How spraying is done
Each frame is washed and degreased, then keyed with a fine abrasive. Glass, rubber seals, handles, sills and brickwork are masked. A coating made for uPVC is sprayed in thin, even coats with drying time in between, giving a finish that's hard to match by brush.
Because it all happens outside, we book from spring to early autumn and keep an eye on the forecast. More detail on frames is on uPVC window spraying.

How we approach upvc spraying
Graham checks each frame for cracks, failed seals and misting inside the glazing, since spraying won't cure those. The quotation names every window and door included. On site we clean, key and mask one elevation at a time, spray in dry, mild conditions and leave frames able to close and lock each evening. The full method, products and FAQs are on our upvc spraying page.
