Rental work in the parish
Landlords and letting agents usually need the same things: fixings filled, marks sealed with Zinsser, tired rooms repainted in a washable emulsion such as Little Greene Intelligent Matt, and doors and skirtings freshened in satin. We set the work around the date the next tenant arrives.
Small repairs go to our carpenter or master builder, so the property is handed back ready to let. If an agent manages the house, we can deal with them directly and send the quotation to whoever approves the work.
Offices and premises on the edge of Cambridge
For offices, workshops or shops in and around the parish, we agree working hours and areas, keep exits clear and use Mirka dust-free sanders around staff. Our office painting page has more.
For larger contracts we have 12 decorators, and we decorated 38 rooms at Westminster College in Cambridge around the college's timetable. Our £5 million public liability cover applies to commercial work as much as to homes.

How we approach commercial painting
For a Fen Ditton let, Graham views the empty property and emails a room-by-room quotation, so it's easy to approve. We strip or wash down, fill, stain-block and repaint in a washable finish, with doors and skirtings in satin. For business premises we fix hours and access in advance, and Belinda is your single contact. The full method, products and FAQs are on our commercial painting page.
