uPVC spraying for houses and flats
Houses make up around 83% of homes in St Neots, and on those a job usually covers every window plus front and back doors and sometimes a conservatory. In a purpose-built flat, frames may be the responsibility of the freeholder or management company, so check before booking.
Each frame is washed and degreased, lightly keyed, then masked around glass, seals, handles and brick before being sprayed on site in a coating made for uPVC.
Conservation area colours
If your home is in the St Neots conservation area, check with Huntingdonshire District Council before changing frame colour, as the look of the street may be protected. Elsewhere, greys, greens and off-blacks are the usual choices. Judge samples outside against your brick or render, and plan any exterior painting at the same time.

How we approach upvc spraying
St Neots spraying is weather-dependent, so we book it between spring and early autumn. Frames are cleaned and degreased to lift the outdoor film, then keyed and masked. Coatings made for uPVC are sprayed on site in thin layers, with drying time between, and Graham tells you at the visit if any frame is cracked or has failed seals. The full method, products and FAQs are on our upvc spraying page.
