uPVC window spraying in Linton
Each frame is cleaned and degreased, keyed so the coating can grip, and masked away from glass, seals, sills and brickwork. Then it's sprayed on site in a coating made for uPVC.
Around 94% of Linton's homes are houses, so a typical job covers every window on the house, with front doors, French doors and conservatory frames added if you'd like them.
Before you pick a colour
Linton has a conservation area. If your house falls within it, check with South Cambridgeshire District Council before you change the colour of your frames. Outside it, greys, greens and off-blacks are the usual choices, and Graham brings samples so you can hold them against your brick in daylight.
Spraying is weather-dependent and best booked from spring to early autumn. Timber frames elsewhere on the house can be brush-painted to match with our exterior painting.

How we approach upvc spraying
For a 1970s Linton house we wash and degrease each window, abrade the surface lightly, then mask glass, seals and brickwork before spraying thin coats of a uPVC coating. Dry, mild days give the best result, so we book between spring and early autumn and keep a close watch on the forecast. The full method, products and FAQs are on our upvc spraying page.
