Why Willingham frames are worth respraying
In the 2021 Census, 92.7% of Willingham homes were houses, so most jobs here involve a full set of windows plus front and back doors, and sometimes a conservatory. Respraying the lot in one go gives a consistent colour across the house.
The frames are washed and degreased, lightly keyed, and the glass, seals, handles and brickwork are masked. We then spray on site in coatings made for uPVC. Graham will tell you at the visit if a frame is cracked or the seals have failed, because a coating can't fix that.
Check before changing colour in the conservation area
If your home is inside the Willingham conservation area, ask South Cambridgeshire District Council before changing window colours. Outside it, greys, greens and off-blacks are common choices, and we can show samples against your brick at the visit.
If you have timber windows as well, we paint those by brush, and older sashes are covered on our sash window restoration page.

How we approach upvc spraying
We book Willingham spraying for dry, mild days between spring and early autumn, since the work is weather-dependent. Each frame is cleaned, degreased and keyed, then masked carefully around glass, seals and sills. Coatings made for uPVC go on in thin coats, with drying time between them, all sprayed on site. The full method, products and FAQs are on our upvc spraying page.
