Market town premises
Shops and offices in a market town usually can't close for decorating. We agree working areas in advance, keep fire exits and walkways clear, and can do shopfronts early in the day so trade carries on. Exterior walls and woodwork get the same survey and anti-fungal cleaning as a house. Inside, we suggest a washable matt in corridors and customer areas, so scuffs from a busy week can be touched in without repainting a whole wall.
If the building is listed or in the St Ives conservation area, Huntingdonshire District Council may need to approve changes to the outside, and we can work to an agreed colour once you have it.
Landlords and letting agents
Private renting made up 21.4% of St Ives households in 2021. Between tenancies we fill fixings, stain-block marks, repaint in washable finishes and refresh woodwork, with small repairs through our builder and carpenter. For a bigger portfolio, our work on student flats in Colchester shows how we handle several units to a deadline.

How we approach commercial painting
Graham surveys the premises and asks about fixed dates first, as they shape the plan. We then agree rooms, hours and a storage area for materials. In occupied space we use low-odour products where needed and Mirka dust-free sanders, and we tidy at the end of every day. Belinda stays your single contact from start to handover. The full method, products and FAQs are on our commercial painting page.
