Rental property and converted flats
Converted flats and shared houses account for about 65 Swavesey homes, more than purpose-built flats. Older converted buildings often have shared stairs and landings that take heavy wear. Between tenants we fill holes from fixings, stain-block water and smoke marks, and repaint tired rooms in a washable finish that can be touched up later.
If you have a viewing or move-in date, tell us at the first meeting, because it decides how many decorators we send and which rooms go first.
Commercial painting in Swavesey for local premises
Swavesey was a market town in earlier centuries, and today any shop, office or community building here gets the same planning as a larger site: agreed work areas, clear walkways and signs on wet paint. Evening or weekend working is open for discussion if you can't close during the day.
Our larger commercial jobs include student accommodation in Colchester, described in the Colchester student flats case study. We hold £5 million public liability insurance.

How we approach commercial painting
We walk the property with you or your agent, note repairs room by room and agree a completion date. Holes are filled, any staining is primed out with Zinsser, and walls are given a matt finish tenants can wipe. Our builder or carpenter picks up loose handles, sticking doors and similar small fixes. Belinda keeps you updated throughout. The full method, products and FAQs are on our commercial painting page.
