Rented homes and letting turnarounds
About 12% of households rent privately, around 450 homes, and 18% rent from a social landlord. For private landlords and letting agents, the usual job is a quick refresh between tenancies: making good fixing holes, stain-blocking marks with Zinsser and repainting in a washable matt that touches up well later.
We plan those jobs to a handover date where the diary allows. Graham quotes after a visit, and Belinda keeps you informed while the work is under way.
Shops, offices and community buildings
One of the village's best-known buildings, Impington Village College, is Grade I listed and was designed by Walter Gropius with Maxwell Fry. Listed or not, every commercial building we take on gets a plan agreed in advance: working areas, clear fire exits and, where daytime work isn't practical, out-of-hours scheduling.
In Cambridge we decorated 38 rooms at Westminster College around the college's own timetable, which is written up in the Westminster College case study.

How we approach commercial painting
For a shop or office we'd survey outside trading hours if that suits, then agree which areas are done when. Low-odour products suit occupied rooms, Mirka dust-free sanders keep dust down, and corridors stay clear. Rental properties get washable finishes and stain-block where needed. Everything is itemised in the written quotation. The full method, products and FAQs are on our commercial painting page.
